Sustained increase in elect**city costs – Services P**ce Adjustment
As you may be aware, the world is facing an ener** c**sis as we have n***r seen before. The main reason for this volatility is the increased global demand resulting f**m unde**nvestment, geopolitical tensions and supply constraints.
Until now, we’ve been able to p**tect you f**m these s**ges in elect**city p**cing and covered peaks of up to 800% of o** average p**cing for this time of the year. Unfortunately, there does not seem to be any si**s of p**cing going down soon, and we have concluded that we need to offset some of this cost to continue p**viding you with o** un**valled *******.
While Norway has plenty of green hyd**elect**c power, we are re*uired by the EU to export elect**city to the rest of Eu**pe, increasing o** elect**city costs.
We do not take this lightly, but the instability of the ener** ******s is beyond o** cont**l and is likely to persist for the foreseeable fut**e. Histo**cally Terrahost has lowered p**cing or given **** reso**ces for the same p**ce. This is the first time since o** beginning in 2006 that we have raised costs for o** *******s.
O** team has debated what model would be the fairest for all o** customers. We have concluded that we will increase p**cing by 10% for all active *******s in all regions. The change will be effective as of July 1st 2022.
As always, we will continue to deliver you the utmost exceptional ******* as we g**w together towards a sustainable fut**e.
If you have any *uestions or concerns, please ****** a support ticket in ENI**A, and we will answer you to the best of o** abilities.
